Kids Cooking Summer Camp Los Angeles (Ages 6-12)

My 12-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter recently completed two different weeklong camps with Scott, and I am beyond impressed with the experience. My son attended the Star Wars camp, and my daughter attended the Harry Potter camp. Scott's teaching has truly inspired them and made a significant impact on our family's mealtime. This morning, my daughter baked a birthday cake for her dad, using skills she learned from Scott. I was amazed by the tricks she knew and the confidence she showed in the kitchen. Scott's recipes have also broadened their palates, introducing them to new foods they might not have tried otherwise. It's been delightful to see them excited about preparing and eating dishes they created themselves. I've already recommended Scott's camp to several friends and look forward to future camps my children can attend. His guidance has been truly invaluable.

My 10-year-old daughter loved the Culinary Dude's Food of the Pop Stars Camp. She really liked being hands-on with new recipes, but she says her favorite part was making new friends. I appreciated the way Scott is really sticking to Covid safety guidelines even as things are opening up a bit. Great experience all around!

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Scott Davis, the owner and operator of "The Culinary Dude". St. Thomas the Apostle Elementary School has worked with Scott since 2014. He has taught culinary skills to our students, afterschool once a week during the school year as well as holding camps during holiday vacations and during the summer. Scott is very professional and flexible. He is easy to work with. His program is well organized and educationally sound. Our students have enjoyed the program. Parents have been most appreciative that their children have had the opportunity to work with Scott. Some of our students take the class every year because Scott varies the curriculum. I strongly recommend without reservations "The Culinary Dude".

Scott has a special way with working with kids. They love him. I am so happy that we had a chance to attend camp!

Scott, the Culinary Dude is a very hands on and personable teacher. He is great at engaging his students plus he's very organized and has an amazing ability to handle a group of children with ease. My kids enjoyed chopping, cooking, cleaning, and trying new foods. They learned a lot and are excited to take more cooking classes @ the Culinary Dude.

My 6 year old son loved this camp so much he insisted on coming early. He'd been in 2 previous camps & rated this one #1. Scott immediately connects with the kids. Neil keeps them physically active in between cooking. Class size is intimate. We'll be back.

My sons just loved this camp! They used math. They used creative skills and, if you send them there with Tupperware they will bring home the most delicious meals for dinner. It's a working parent's dream. No need to pack a lunch and they bring home dinner to boot. Awesome food. I particularly was impressed by the Japanese food. The California rolls rocked. My kids ate more vegetables in their one week of camp than they have eaten all year.
