My 12-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter recently completed two different weeklong camps with Scott, and I am beyond impressed with the experience. My son attended the Star Wars camp, and my daughter attended the Harry Potter camp. Scott's teaching has truly inspired them and made a significant impact on our family's mealtime.  This morning, my daughter baked a birthday cake for her dad, using skills she learned from Scott. I was amazed by the tricks she knew and the confidence she showed in the kitchen.  Scott's recipes have also broadened their palates, introducing them to new foods they might not have tried otherwise. It's been delightful to see them excited about preparing and eating dishes they created themselves.  I've already recommended Scott's camp to several friends and look forward to future camps my children can attend. His guidance has been truly invaluable.

My 10-year-old daughter loved the Culinary Dude's Food of the Pop Stars Camp. She really liked being hands-on with new recipes, but she says her favorite part was making new friends. I appreciated the way Scott is really sticking to Covid safety guidelines even as things are opening up a bit. Great experience all around!

St. Thomas the Apostle Elementary School has worked with Scott since 2014. He has taught culinary skills to our students, afterschool once a week during the school year as well as holding camps during holiday vacations and during the summer.
Scott is very professional and flexible. He is easy to work with. His program is well organized and educationally sound. Our students have enjoyed the program. Parents have been most appreciative that their children have had the opportunity to work with Scott. Some of our students take the class every year because Scott varies the curriculum.

Our daughter loved the camp. We appreciated that she learned how to work in the kitchen and learned to be more comfortable using the utensils and stove. In addition, she felt pride in working as a team in creating dishes that they could eat themselves as well as bring home for family members. She is not aspiring to be a Top Chef but just to have a love for cooking. This camp is perfect for this purpose.

The class I sat in on was held at a private school in San Francisco with Chef Scott Davis leading the class. He was fantastic with the group of five children, ages from between 1st to 5th grades. His ability to keep the young kids under control, engaged and focused all at the same time in a very positive way, was awe-inspiring.

My sons just loved this camp! They used math. They used creative skills and, if you send them there with Tupperware they will bring home the most delicious meals for dinner. It's a working parent's dream. No need to pack a lunch and they bring home dinner to boot. Awesome food. I particularly was impressed by the Japanese food. The California rolls rocked. My kids ate more vegetables in their one week of camp than they have eaten all year.

My daughter just celebrated her 6th birthday at ITK. She and her 10 little chef friends had a BLAST! The recipes were easy, and delicious! I really liked how the big chef made sure that all the little chef's were involved in the entire process...from learning the rules of the kitchen, to the cooking, and the cleaning, and to the eating! One of the mom's wants to have her next birthday party there! Thanks Chef Scott! We'll be back!

Great discovery finding ITK and The Culinary Dude!  I was looking around for summer camps for my 8 year old nephew, and tried out a week of ITK's cooking camp for kids.   My nephew absolutely LOVED the classes and wants to sign up more--each day focused on food from France, Italy, Spain and the Middle East.  The Culinary Dude is great with the kids.  The kids' classes on Sundays look interesting too and I definitely plan to bring my nephew back to ITK.  Just a suggestion, but if Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas classes for kids are available, we're there!

Look no further for an impeccable culinary adventure. Chef Scott, The Culinary Dude is not only an amazing chef, par extraordinaire, but such wonderful honest decent person!! We hosted our daughter's birthday party at ITK Culinary and let me tell you, its not an easy feat to handle 15 tween girls. But he not only did it with ease and comfort, he also made sure the group had a wonderful fun time and actually learned something! We are so bowled over and so ecstatic we found this amazing place and great chef in The Culinary Dude. I cannot wait for more culinary experiences at ITK. The kitchen and working space is fabulous and immaculately clean and the perfect site for a birthday party, girls night out or a romantic couples night. My daughters and their friends took the Grains cooking class at ITK with The Culinary Dude and had a blast! We parents enjoyed watching them in action at the end of class and especially loved sitting down with them to dine on their delicious creations! They've been non-stop in the kitchen since then! Creating new dishes and looking through cookbooks for ideas as well! Such an inspiration and I just had to share with fellow Petaluma families - who seemed very interested in enrolling their kids in these fantastic classes as well! "Our twin girls (now age 12) took a cooking class from Scott at Whole Foods in Los Altos, CA. The girls really enjoyed his class and I was hoping he'd teach more classes at Whole Foods. Since this is our daughters' last year at their elementary school and I haven't had a birthday party for them in the last 4 years, I thought I'd give them a party. I wanted to do something different (but not "over the top") for their party, but not make it a logistics nightmare and give them something engaging to do and have them "learn something along the way". Scott's cooking class/competition at our home at the birthday party with 11 girls was outstanding. Hands and brains were engaged for 2+ hours and then they ate what they created. It was excellent and highly recommend this for parties - an incredible learning experience, food prepared by the kids and no useless, non-green goodie bags needed!"
