Please know that Scott Davis was in my employ for approximately one year as a family chef.  Scott bought, prepared meals, served many meals including both casual family dinners as well as adult entertaining dinners.  His menus were consistently excellent with strong attention to detail.  All components were well thought out, complementary, served with restaurant flare, and of course, delicious.  Working in advance with Scott to plan the menus was always easy via email or phone and he was always graciously amenable to change.  Scott handled his chef role as a true professional. 

My daughter has extreme food allergies that cover a large group of foods and Scott was very willing and happy to work with me to create special menus that everyone could eat.  Not cooking with dairy, egg, seafood, sesame, nuts and mustard can be tricky but Scott looked at it as a challenge and no one eating at my house ever noticed the difference -- all credit to Scott.  One of my husband's bachelor friends would regularly call to see if it was a "Scott cooking" night as he loved to enjoy a wonderful meal.   

In addition, I have three small children that all loved Scott and his cooking.  He has a special talent with children and was playful with them as well as willing to teach them about the meals he was preparing.

When he catered, he was on top of everything; it was like having a staff of five in one man. People really loved his Macaroni and Blue Cheese and his caramel brownies. During the week, my favorite dish was his baked fried chicken. He worked within our requirements (my wife is vegetarian and prefers everything organic); he does all the shopping and preparation in your kitchen. "We first hired Scott to help us by preparing meals for us for the week during a particularly busy time for our family. He came to our house (always on time) and cooked for about 4 hours. His great meals (total of 6 courses to be eaten throughout the week) were stored in containers to be eaten throughout the week. The food was great, fresh and EASY. Another thing that is great about Scott is that he will work with particular/picky eaters and work around any food allergies, etc. And bonus: He does all the grocery shopping too!"
